Video Specifications

Pre-Roll

  • Version Compatibility: Markets already under centralized ad ops will be responsible for file conversion and must supply a URL to the MP4 file once it’s been uploaded. Also, all video players are VAST 2.0 compliant.
  • Maximum Spot Length: 15 seconds
  • Dimensions: 320×240 or 640×480
  • Aspect Ratio: 4:3 is strongly recommended – 16:9 will be accepted, however – black bars will appear on video.
  • Size: Up to 2.2MB
  • Special Instructions: No playback controls allowed – all playback control will be provided within the LIN Media video player

NOTE: Post-Roll has the same guidelines and specification as pre-roll.

In-Stream Display Ad

  • Dimensions: 640×80 (preferred size); 320×40 (minimum size)
  • Format: Static image only (.jpg or .gif)
  • Max File Size: 40k
  • Special Instructions: This ad unit may not be animated; this ad unit must be paired with a 50×25 Leave-Behind Display Ad.

Leave-Behind Display

  • AdDimensions: 50×25
  • Format: Static image only (.jpg or .gif)
  • Max File Size: 40k
  • Special Instructions: This ad unit should be logo only on either a white or transparent background and may not be animated.
